2009 Halloween Tags

These tags were made using the 2009 Halloween Tag stamp set by Paper Trey Ink.
I stamped them using Paper Trey Ink inkpads in: Noir, Orangerie, Enchanted Evening and Dark Chocolate.
The circles were made using my Cricut Expression machine. I used just regular white cardstock (1.75-inch)and then black and a yellow-orange (2-inch) cardstock as bases.

*Happy Birthday Doggie* Card

I made this for a cousin’s little boy who turned two this weekend. He loves dogs, so I thought it would be neat to have a card where a dog is chasing a balloon. I stamped background with a Hero Arts birthday stamp. Then I die cut a balloon and stamped over it with a Hero Arts flourish. I hand cut felt into cloud shapes and hand stitched. To make the grass I used Claudine Hellmuth’s gel medium to paint grass and then inked over it with Tim Holtz distress ink. I added wire to the balloon and both the balloon and dog are adhered with pop up dots.

Project365 Day 30 – Homemade Ornament

I bought 4 glass ornaments at Michael’s about three months before Christmas. I cut out a stencil onto vinyl using my Cricut Expression. Then I used Armor Etch to etch into the glass. Viola! The design was etched into the glass!
I took some scrap ribbon (one is burgundy and the other is a dark teal) and glued them together. Then, I dotted the ribbon with gold glitter glue. All that was left to do was glue down the ribbon on the ornament and add some sheer ribbon for hanging!
I made this holly berry shown here, two candy canes and snowflakes. My wonderful baby sister hinted at how she liked the candy cane ones…so..of course I gave her one!
The bokeh is from tinsel and other ornaments.
Enjoy!
